Brand development for Steve's Leaves
Steve’s Leaves create amazingly tasty bags of unique flavour combination baby leaf salad. With a new and exciting salad bowl product ready to launch in Waitrose, we were tasked with refreshing the brand – from the brand communications — from brand language, to logo and pack design.

ResultsOur research showed a common customer complaint in fresh FMCG; that the packaging often obscured the product. We addressed this concern with a revised packaging design for Steve's Leaves bags. It was a challenge and exercise in subtle design revisions — removing and reducing unnecessary graphics to ultimately gain an additional 25% visibility of the product. The Luscious Trio of Tomato Salad has surpassed sales expectations by selling over 55,000 units since its launch.
New brand markWe revised the logo to remove the nasty stalky bits (as they're not in Steve's products!), and added in a new fan of the unique baby leaves. We also developed a new set of packaging specific marks — featuring leaves specific to each product.
