Re-launching a cider brand
Tutts Clump is a family run company making cider the old fashioned way – by hand. We were originally tasked with helping launch three new product lines. Though their ciders are amazing (they’ve won countless awards since 2006), the range was only really known in their local area, and visually the product range was in need of some love. So to broaden the appeal we went back to the company’s core purpose – to make real, old-fashioned cider. And hey presto – their positioning was born! Tutts Clump – Proper Cider.

Refining the look & feelWe honed the ‘Proper Cider’ positioning with a new straight talking tone of voice and introduced a revised labelling system for the products. Together the new labelling and tone of voice aligned the visual identity with their ethos.
ResultsSince the rebrand Tutts Clump Proper Cider has seen huge growth in its fan base online with a 71% increase in Facebook Likes. The branding has enabled them to enter previously closed markets – including the London bar scene.
