A new site for an old brand

“Are you still going?” Was our first reaction to the call from Wimpy Restaurants. Some of us knew the brand from childhood birthday parties in the late 80s, but hadn’t seen it on the high street for years. Turns out they’ve been quietly rebuilding the brand in the background and in 2016 the launch of new look Wimpy sites started. A new website was the next stage in the brand revival process.

February took Wimpy’s core brand principles — friendly, fun and appealing to all generations in the family — to create an online presence that is relevant for a modern-day casual dining brand. A greater focus on photography of the food and customers tied with easy to navigate sections to highlight menu options and promotions. All without losing the vast heritage of the brand.
